Sparkseed (“Sparkseed,” “we” or “us”) is a charitable organization registered under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and incorporated in the State of California. We understand and appreciate that your privacy is important, and we are strongly committed to protecting the privacy of website visitors and current and potential donors and social innovators. This Privacy Policy governs our collection and use of personal information on www.sparkseed.org (the “Site”). Your provision of such information to us on the Site serves as your acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Personally Identifiable Information
We may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, phone number and/or email address when you apply to become a social innovator, make a donation or fill out a “contact us” form for further information. Depending on the circumstance, if you choose not to provide this information, we may not permit access to certain areas of the Site.
Personally identifiable information collected may be: (i) used to verify user identity during communications with Sparkseed; (ii) shared with certain third-party service providers for the sole purpose of administering services on the Site; (iii) used to customize and/or personalize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual user; (iv) used to send email and other forms of communication; (v) used to re-fill certain forms with stored personal information; (vi) used to improve the Site and its content; (vii) used to support the operating, hosting, and enhancing of our Site; and (viii) used on an anonymous basis to generate statistical studies and conduct research concerning to the Site or activities related to the Site. We do not sell or rent donor lists or social innovator applicant lists (as applicable) to anyone. Information Collected Through Traffic Monitoring
Like many other websites, the Site is equipped with a program that monitors website traffic. It automatically records every visitor’s host, domain name, pages visited, length of user session, browser type and/or IP address. This program tracks the number of times the Site is visited, how many visitors come to the Site, which parts of the Site are frequented, and the length of time of each visit.
